Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, is very pleased to be able to donate old PC stock to Camara in the knowledge that the systems will be re-invigorated and put to excellent educational use in African schools. So far, we have given over 100 computers to various Camara projects. This initiative complements our ongoing role in Development Education is a very fitting match with our existing African commitments.

In conjunction with MIC President, Prof. Peadar Cremin, MIC Buildings Maintenance Manager, Brian Kirby who facilitates us with transport and manpower and also Head of Theology & Religious Studies, Prof. Eamonn Conway who introduced us to Camara originally, I cannot praise this worthwhile organisation highly enough. When the phones are hopping during the working week, it’s nice to think that little satellites of MIC are working well and whirring away in another continent.
