I started my teaching this week, at Imperial High School, Mapote. The town is about a 45 minute bus ride from TY. A team of 4 of us taught there, with some more of the Camara team teaching in another nearby town called Peka. Our school was situated in a beautiful mountain area! The weather here is very cold at night and early in the morning, but during the day it is very bright and sunny.
I taught an Improvers Computer course to 14 people in the school’s assembly hall. The students in my class, a lot of them teachers from the local schools, were very keen to learn. I also introduced Moodle to them, as a teaching resource. I was very tired by the end of the week, but I thoroughly enjoyed the teaching and my discussions with a lot of interesting people.

At the weekend, we relocated from TY for a week to teach up in the mountains of Thabo Tseka. On the way there we spent a fantastic weekend visiting Katse Dam and the surrounding areas.
