Last weekend at the Global Development Network Conference, Colombia, Camara Rwanda saw off competition from 251 other international projects to win the ‘Japanese award for the Most Innovative Development Project’. This is one of the most prestigious awards handed out within the sector and reflects all the hard work put in by everyone both in Rwanda, at the other hubs and back in Ireland. Particular congratulations to Eddy in Rwanda for his great work in getting this award. This recognition further validates the effectiveness of the Camara education model, and it’s future potential for disadvantaged communities world-wide. Well done to all!
