‘Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals’ briefed attendees on new products and solutions, and Camara highlighted the benefits of computer reuse to facilitate their work to help transform education through technology.

“While the adoption of new technology is essential for companies all over Ireland, the reuse of technology hardware has a powerful impact on digital literacy skills of disadvantaged communities all over the world”, said Mark Fox, Camara’s Business Development Manager, presenting at TechCamp.

Microwarehouse, Ireland’s largest Irish owned IT distributor, and TechCamp 2013 Platinum sponsor, demonstrated a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility in partnering with, and donating event registration fees to Camara. It is hoped that other IT companies will follow the example set by Microwarehouse and support Camara. Unwanted computer equipment is a valuable resource.
