It was a busy weekend for the Camara Ireland Team!

From the schools programme, Nicole and Ben were in Thurles on Saturday, at the Limerick Institute of Technology, for the annual ICT in EDU conference.

Attended by teachers from across the country, the conference had a theme of “Cocreating with Students” and there were talks and workshops on a wide range of topics covering technology integration, Google Apps, ePortfolios and social media to Minecraft and Battle Robots in Education. As always it was an enthusiastic group of teachers and plenty of ideas for discussion.

Meanwhile, down in Cork, Adam from the Learnstorm programme, assisted by Steven, was hosting the Learnstorm Munster provincial celebration. Over 150 pupils from over 30 schools across the region took part in a fun day of problem solving activities ,receiving certificates for their efforts.

And last but by no means least, Matthew from the TechSpace program was in Limerick running the latest in our series of all day Digital Media Masterclasses for educators. Using Adobe Premiere Elements the attendees created their own media from photos and videos taken on the day.
