Team Rwanda had the great privilege to meet with Rosetta on Thursday 5th June. Rosetta, a social worker from Uganda, has been in the Kimmage Development Studies Centre for the past nine months. She describes herself as a Rwandan refugee living in Uganda. What a lovely lady! She shared information with us about customs in Rwanda. You could have heard a pin drop in the room as Rosetta talked candidly about the genocide in her country and described it as “part of what we are” Rosetta returns to Rwanda at the beginning of July and promises to meet up with us in Rwanda and show us some of her country of which she is obviously very proud.
