This Saturday the workshop will be open to visitors interested in volunteering with Camara in Africa this summer. During July 2009, 80 volunteers shall travel to Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia to teach basic and advanced ICT in the school computer labs we have helped supply.
This information event shall start at 10:30am in Camara, the Digital Hub and is open to anyone interested in learning a bit more about our overseas project and anyone looking for a worthwhile project to get involved with.
Our plan includes a tour of the workshop, presentations from previous volunteers and more information about how to get involved in the 2009 July trip to Africa.
Anyone interested in volunteering with Camara in Africa this summer but who can’t make Saturday – don’t worry there will be a second information evening next Thursday 12th February at 7pm. Or contact africa09@camara.ie for more details or an alternative day to drop in.
Hope to see you soon!
