Camara was pleased to play host to fifth-class students from Scoil Mhuire, Shankill, in our Dublin workshop on January 25th. The students were there to learn more about the importance of computer reuse at the launch of the ‘Camara Ireland’ project which is bringing the Camara Education model to schools in disadvantaged areas in Dublin. More information can be found at the Camara Ireland website. The students learned how to crush hard drives, toured the inside of a computer and got an insight into how much resources are used to make one PC.
For more information, see the press release.
Silicon Republic also ran an article on the launch.
