Camara Education / ICG partnership
ICG has a long-lasting commitment to adopting responsible and sustainable business practices to make a positive impact to society through its investments and operations. Informing this new partnership, ICG and Camara Education found strong alignment in values between the two organisations.
Objectives
ICG’s partnership with Camara has two main objectives,
- To collect as much used IT equipment as possible from ICG’s global offices, to support Camara’s African school projects.
- To work closely with Camara’s communications and marketing department to create awareness around ICG’s donations and encourage other to follow suit.
Results so far
The age and quality of the kit donated by ICG is of very good standard and from just one collection of just under 50 computers, Camara was able to create a new computer lab and benefit around 700 students.
